E2R MAVERICK R 1″ SHAFT CONVERSION FOR FOX IBP SHOCKS – 3.0

Double E Racing is proud to introduce our new Can-Am Maverick R Rear 1 inch shaft upgrade kit.

This kit fixes a lot of issues on the OEM shocks. We will offer the kit for both the 3.0 Internal Bypass shocks and the 2.5 QS3 shocks. As of now, we do not have shafts for the smart shocks. These kits are a must have for serious racers or hard driving enthusiasts.

The 3.0 kit includes:
(2) 1 inch 17-4 Hard Chrome Rebound Shafts
(2) 7075 Double E Racing Designed seal heads.
(2) 7075 1″ Eyelets bored for the 1″ shafts
(2) 7075 3.75″ Spring retainers
(2) Double E Racing Designed top out springs for the 1″ shafts
(2) Top out spring washers
(4) Upper shock eye High-Misalignment Spacers

ADVANTAGES:

– The 17-4 material is considerably stronger than the OEM material.

– Not only are the 7075 parts stronger than OEM, but we improved the design of the seal head to solve some common issues.

1. We designed them to have a secondary seal, compared to the single OEM seal, for better sealing. These have a dust seal, main seal and a O-ring seal.
2. We Designed them to run a 1″ Long DU bushing for way more lateral stability and shear strength. The OEM bushing is 0.5″ Long.
3. The seal head has a stop for the DU bushing. We’ve seen the OEM DU bushings get pushed into the main seal, causing the shock to leak.
4. We designed the seal head to be one unit, eliminating the press in dust cap. This solved several issues:

• • The press in dust caps will fall out under a harsh bottom out condition.
  • Dirt and mud get trapped in the press in cap, causing the shock to leak.
  • This design allows shock tuners the ability to utilize the shock both with and without the bypass tube. In other words, you now have the ability to run a standard piston (We’ve
    designed our own piston) and covert the shock into a traditional shock, if desired. With the OEM seal head, this can not be done.
  • We designed the cap to make compressed length approx. 0.25″ longer. This doesn’t seem like a lot, but in certain racing conditions, it keeps the car from framing out.
